Summary/Abstract: Westpomeranian Region is not a leader when it comes to level of innovation of the economy in Poland. It causes an effect in the condition of the local start-up scene, which neither is mentioned among the leading Polish ecosystems (Warsaw, Wroclaw and Krakow are the leaders) nor comparable with located nearby global start-up hubs (Berlin, Copenhagen, Gothenburg). Likewise significant funds are alocated in the region through financial instruments as well as many efforts are put in development of the start-up ecosystem.
