Summary/Abstract: The present article demonstrates the importance of cognitive linguistics when analyzing feminine nouns created from the projection of masculine traits on their feminine counterpart. In a phenomenon analogous to metonymy, the purpose of this article is to interpret new lexical forms achieved through the inflectional morphology as a pragmatic alternative to the derivative morphology.
