Holy Mysteries in Schismatic Communities – The Readmittance of Schismatics in the Church

Summary/Abstract: This study is about validity of holy mysteries in schismatic communities. The way and the possibility of schismatic admittance is considered through the sacred and canonical tradition of the Orthodox Church. In this study modern practices of the local Orthodox churches are presented with a review on the opinion of academical theology about the schismatic admittance and validity of holy mysteries in schismatic communities. The purpose of this study is not to give the final conclusion about validity of sacred secrets at the schismatics, but to point out different practices of the admittance the schismatics in the community, according to the economy of the Church and to make us think whether the boundaries of the Church are canonical or beneficial.
