Summary/Abstract: Šekib Arslan, a journalist and a thinker, on the occasion of his visit to Mekteb-i nuvab on August 22nd 1932, gave a statement that this institution was perfect in both aspects: architectural appearance and applied teaching methods, which was published in a Commemorative Volume of Mekteb-i nuvab. This statement is confirmed by the number of the subjects studied at the school as well as by the numerous of graduates with the title of Sharia judge. Among 47 generation of students who studied at this institution, there are also a number of distinguished researchers of Bosniak cultural and religious inheritance. It is important to point put that generation of alumni stayed related during their lifetime. Correspondence between the two professors Muhamed Okić and Hfz. Omer Mušić, once again confirms that, and the wealth of themes and contents of this correspondence is the subject of this paper.
