Summary/Abstract: The Second Vatican Council required of moral theology to make attempts to renew its methodological approach and ways of communication to a wider audience. Theologians participating in this process had to reckon with the current views of the discipline and the rapid changes that were taking place in the present world. Professor Father Antoni Młotek was among theologians distinguished in the field of the renewal of moral theology in Poland. Through his love of the Holy Bible and the Church, he actively co-created the environment for practicing moral theology. He pointed to the basic determinants of a Christian’s moral life, the value of referring to patristic tradition and to some issues of detailed moral theology.
