Elements of Artistic Language in Drawing

Summary/Abstract: In visual art, whether we are talking about monochrome or polychrome, there are three structural elements: line, dot and spot. They are used harmoniously by the artist to plastically emphasize the analyzed subject. The present study is an analysis of the elements of visual language in the drawing, highlighting the moments of maximum evidence of the line, point and spot. In visual art we find them used separately but also in the associated formula, the compositional formula that brings together all the elements of visual language is a harmonious one and implicitly of high artistic value.
