Summary/Abstract: The submitted paper is an introduction to the life and work of Hildegard of Bingen, Western mystic of the 11th century, as well as the presentation of the first translation of some of her writings in Serbian language. Special attention is paid to her unusual and idiosyncratic theory, theology and mysticism of music in perspective of contemporary heterology and theopoetics.
