Summary/Abstract: The article presents the pedagogical impact of art on a human being. The aesthetic experience that comes with dealing with pieces of art has a substantial role in creating an axiological human system. In the process of aesthetic experience, not only does an individual discover the aesthetic values, but also cognitive, social and moral ones. Dealing with art facilitates self-discovery and supports intellectual understanding of the complex reality, creates a good rapport between people, helps in working on your inner self. Banausic and pragmatic tendencies may be counterbalanced by using aesthetic experiences in modern education in order to foster the formation of a mature personality.
