Summary/Abstract: Aim of the study is to present the current trends in logistics sector and necessity of innovations planned to be prepared for the future. It is tried to determine the benefit to be brought by the novel trends attempted for facilitation of the logistics within the scope of the research. Thanks to the novel trends, it is explained that what sort of facilities will be created in which fields of the logistics sector. The unique aspect of the study is to determine the impacts created on the logistics under the business conditions where digital technologies should be necessarily used for execution of the activities on days when borders are closed and quarantine practices are in force under the changing social and economic circumstances of the world in the process of Covid-19 crisis in which we are experiencing. Indicators organized for the purpose of finding the ways of coming out of the chaos observed from the perspective of the world with minimum damage are analyzed for the logistics activities within the Covid-19 crisis. Improvements, changes and future forecasts experienced in the logistic sector of the world in pre and post pandemic periods of Covid-19 are emphasized. After the assessments performed, suggestions based on the impacts which will be likely resulted from difficulties of both conditions that have been already existing and will be resulted from pandemic are given. With this study, it is targeted to establish the most proper provisions about the facilities to be provided with the facilitation of the innovations in the logistics.
