Summary/Abstract: The present paper is a part of a trans-disciplinary monograph realized by the author, written in French, during 1990-2010, approaching the general theory of empires (as autonomous, distinct political entities), using the trans-historical perspective, as well. This study is proposing to depict some types of empires, by taking into account numerous and diverse patterns and ways of implementation of this political concept, offered by academics (history, international relations, juridical and politic doctrine, as well).
