Summary/Abstract: The logic of hyphen is being analyzed in grammatical, but also in spatial and visual sense, for it indicates distance/interval which appears within "identity" which presents itself as one and unique. The concept of singularity is introduced here as that which is not universal subject, but at the same time as that which can not be simply differentiated from universal. In that sense, the way in which hyphen functions can be read as the way in which singularity functions, and as relation of a singularity with the other singularity.
