Summary/Abstract: In this study, which was carried out to investigate how the indicators of the manufacturing industry affect employment in 26 sub-regions, the logit model was chosen, one of the most widely used binary preference models. If it has increased compared to the previous year, dependent variable is 1; If it is decreased, it is expressed as 0. Independent variables are export, import, GDP, number of enterprises and production used logarithmically. According to the model estimation result, while the increase in exports and GDP and the decrease in imports positively affect employment, the increase in the number of enterprises negatively affects employment. Production does not have a statistically significant effect on employment.
