Actions taken to protect the cyberspace of the Republic of Poland in the years 2015–2019

Summary/Abstract: The paper looks at the activities related to the protection of Polish cyberspace from 2015to 2019. The time span referred to in the title concerns the 8th term of the Polish Parliamentand is closely related to the rule of the United Right. There had already been a certain level of awareness of the existence of threats in cyberspace back in the 1980s, andthis allowed to lay the foundations for wider activities taken in this area. For many reasons, the construction of the Polish cyberspace protection system was only launched inthe twenty-first century, which significantly affected the current state of protection of thisparticular sphere, as well as the public awareness of the threats posed.
