The Role and Significance of Philosophy in Theology

Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we will try to present some basic postulates of the relationship between philosophy and theology, i.e. reason and faith, and notice how much the philosophical speaks through the theological and whether theology can understand and interpret faith without philosophical postulates, but also without turning into philosophy or philosophical theology, but to remain what must and should remain: theology. We will consider this in more detail through the analysis of theological and philosophical faith, and according to the understanding of God in the philosophical and metaphysical categories.
