Summary/Abstract: Agriculture, one of the main production sectors of the economy, is changing depending on external influences. Thus, these external influences are related to the processes taking place both nationally and globally. In order to achieve sustainable development of the country's economy, the growth rate of agricultural products must be maintained for food security purposes. At the same time, opportunities to increase budget revenues through revenues from the export of agricultural products with export potential are always in focus. Different pandemics, such as the Spanish Flu, Asian Flu, Hong Kong Flu, HIV / AIDS, SARS, Ebola and Swine Flu, have had a profound effect on the economy, the environment and any human activity. Agriculture, tourism, transport, education, health, fisheries, mining, industry, trade, etc. Economic sectors such as Mankind is currently facing another pandemic - a new coronavirus infection that causes a disease known as COVID. The Covid 19 coronavirus pandemic, which began in China in December 2019, quickly spread to Iran, Italy, Germany and other European, Asian, African and American countries and became global. Since February 2020, the first cases of infection have been detected in Azerbaijan, which have spread rapidly over time and have had a negative impact on the economy, including agriculture. The article examines the impact of the global coronavirus pandemic on agriculture, farm performance and financial performance, and the results of advanced measures applied in the country and international practice.
