Summary/Abstract: This article aims to clarify, in particular, aspects of patients' right to privacy of medical data, the obligation for doctors and healthcare professionals to comply with this obligation, which is the legal liability in case of breach of the obligation of confidentiality of medical data, as well as providing some guidance to avoid such liability.
