Textological Aspects in the Exegesis of the First Chapter of the Song of Songs

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses basic terms and principles of the textological analysis, the practical application of which is then shown in the example of first chapter of Masoretical and Septuagintal texts of the Song of Songs, giving the author’s own translation of the text. The article is a shortened version of the master thesis defended in October 2011 at Faculty of Orthodox Theology, University of Belgrade, under the guidance of professor Rodoljub Kubat.
