Summary/Abstract: The article discusses some lexemes – neologisms and occasionalisms, which are called food products, commercial outlets for their sale, catering establishments. The studied new word formations are a vivid reflection of the ongoing dynamic processes in the lexical stock of the language since 1989, they carry valuable information about word-formation tools and ways in which businesses seek to attract the consumer attention of the client.
