Summary/Abstract: The following article is a case study of two information leaflets concerning Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) therapy, both written in English and intended for an English-speaking audience. The leaflets, which are believed to be part of the same medical discourse, are aimed at two target groups i.e. adults and children. The presented vocabulary and readability analysis is only part of the extended research in which the results of one of its stages are presented. On the basis of the analysis the conclusions are drawn.
