Summary/Abstract: Internet memes undeniably have become indispensable elements of the online space and hold the power of infl uence uponusers. We must see that memes are not just simple contemporary, peer-to-peer jokes anymore, instead, they have a surprisinglystrong eff ect on netizens by creating a link to the word of politics. The paper aims to analyse three completely diff erent (political)cultures and user behaviours trough the most popular memes related to Donald Trump, Theresa May, and Viorica Dăncilă andtries to fi nd the reason they gained such interest on social media. As we would see, regardless of nationality, the citizens of theinternet produce and create new culture-specifi c memes, but do not forget to use traditional templates, thus integrating theircreations into the long line of Internet memes.
