All of them form a broadly understood system of the local tourist economy, the efficiency and effectiveness of which determines the level of tourism development of this area. There might be various contradictions and conflicts between the objectives of individual entities, resulting both from differences in methods of achieving goals, as well as from lack of agreement and cooperation, which may draw up a significant limitation in the process of creating a regional tourist product. That is why such an important clause should be attributed to the cooperation of tourism enterprises with local government authorities. The research goal of the study is to recognize the extent and forms of cooperation undertaken between tourism enterprises and local governments in the tourism sector in the region of Szczecin. The research process included city of Szczecin and the County of Police, Gryfino, Goleniów and Stargard. An additional source of data were observations, interviews and public consultations conducted by the author of the study.
