Summary/Abstract: The relationship between investment and savings has been empirically tested in the literature, and many hypotheses have been put forward regarding the level of this relationship and its impact on the economic structure. The Feldstein – Horioka puzzle is one of these hypotheses. In this study, the validity of the Feldstein–Horioka puzzle was tested in the economies of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan from Turkey and the Turkic republics. In the study conducted using annual data for the period of 2002-2018, horizontal section dependence, unit root, parameter estimates and causality tests were used as analysis method. In the parameter estimates, it was concluded that the Feldstein – Horioka puzzle is valid only in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. The country-by-country analysis shows that the causality relationship between from domestic savings to investments applies only to Tajikistan and Turkey.
