Summary/Abstract: The author of the present article focuses on St. Gregory of Nyssa's view on resurrection of the body. St. Gregory tends to show that there is a very close connection between the soul and the body. He also stresses that, when the time comes, the soul and the body would recognize each other. For Origen, the physical body and the spiritual body are two different bodies, whereas according to St. Gregory, the physical and the spiritual body are merely two different states of one single body.
