Eschatological Character of Beatitudes According to St. Gregory of Nyssa

Summary/Abstract: Eschatology is the key for accurate interpretation of Holy Scripture, which is confirmed by patristic exegesis. The interpretation of Beatitudes by St. Gregory of Nyssa is the most striking example. His interpretation offers us directions for accurate understanding of biblical and patristic relation between ontology and ethic, which is the intention of the author of this paper.
