Summary/Abstract: The article studies the history of the development of responsibility for corruption crimes on the territory of Ukraine during the USSR period of existence and after its collapse. Corruption crimes and the degree of responsibility for them are analyzed. Based on the development of regulations and public administration, global historical periods related to liability for corruption crimes are distinguished.
