Summary/Abstract: In the last 200 years, mankind has made significant progress in many areas. Developments such as industrialization, technological progress, urbanization and increase in growth and development rates accompanied by rapid population growth have made the energy factor, which is extremely important in all areas of life, more evident.While fossil fuels are currently the main source of energy, the use of renewable energy sources is in an increasing trend due to the damage of the environment by fossil fuels and the depletion of fossil fuel resources. In this context, wind energy, which is an important source of renewable energy, has become more and more prominent. In this study, the relationship between wind energy and economic growth is analyzed using panel data method for the selected 15 G-20 countries between the period of 1991 and 2017. According to the findings, there is a positive relationship between wind energy and economic growth.
