Summary/Abstract: The aim is to specify Turkish language needs of students and to determine wheather the needs of language learners vary according to faculty, sex, period of studying. Research data have been collected with the help of the scale used by Iwai in his book “Japanese Language Needs Analysis” (1998). The intented sample of students of Minsk State Linguistic University in 2019 was 56 students and the actual sample consisted of 49 learners of the intended sample. The data collected in the study have been analyzed with SPSS 24 program. Based on the results of data analysis, the language needs were divided into four subdimensions ― individual interests and needs, education and job opportunity, conduct of business, and communicating in the classroom. At the end of the investigation, the findings of the movement of Turkish as a foreign language teaching in Belarus nature presented some proposals on behalf of the increase.
