Summary/Abstract: Meal rituals have been an important part of traditions since the earliest times of history. The aim of this study is to determine the rituals with meals in the province of Osmaniye. For this purpose, the study was carried out in the sample of female participants born and raised in Kadirli, Bahçe,Düziçi, Toprakkale, Hasanbeyli and Sumbas districts, especially in the central district of Osmaniye. The data were obtained as a result of answering open-ended questions face-to-face with some of the participants and some of them by phone (due to transportation to the districts, time constraints and especially Covid-19 measures). In this context, the data were collectedbetween January 29 and February 8, 2021 using criteria sampling technique, one of the purposefulsampling methods. A total of 18 participants were reached. The obtained data were subjected to content analysis. As a result of the content analysis, 11 codes were derived and these codes were combined in 4 categories. It has been determined that the rituals with meals in Osmaniye are rituals with meals during the transition period, religious festivals and rituals with meals on special days, rituals with meals on farewell days, and rituals with meals on special seasonal days. The study ends by offering some suggestions in order to preserve, introduce and pass on the tradition of ritual with meals in Osmaniye to future generations.
