Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the problem of entering into marriage by proxy and of mixed-re- ligious marriage. It is an attempt to answer the question whether the law of the Latin Church permits the possibility of marriage by proxy if the marriage in this form is intended to be concluded by the Catholic and non-Catholic parties. To this end, an analysis of the internal law of the Latin Church and of the Churches that belong to the Polish Ecumenical Council was carried out. As a result of theLucjan Świto, Małgorzata Tomkiewicz research, it was established that a mixed religious marriage by proxy will be able to conclude a Catholic with the followers of the Lutheran Church in the Republic of Poland, with the followers of the Evangelical Reformed Church in the Republic of Poland and with the followers of the Evangelical and Methodist Church in the Republic of Poland.
