Social dialogue in Romania: from a forgotten tradition to a renewed practice

Summary/Abstract: This article presents a very brief analysis of the status of social dialogue in Romania, attempting to identify the key actors and the critical points in the process and to make some suggestions as regards improvements to its functioning. The analysis also tackles the relationship between the Romanian context and the enlargement of social Europe with respect to social dialogue.
