Summary/Abstract: Vojvodinian motifs in minority literatures were considered on the one hand to be expressions of locality; on the other hand there are works which substantiate the reality of existence of Vojvodina and incorporate it into the universal semantic space. By combining the methodological approach of the Slovak and Brno school of comparatistics, we have the opportunity to asses from a wider perspective the importance of traditionalist and antitraditionalist texts, and in particular, literary works on the border zone of various genres. Space, which emerges in these works, does not denote only the framework of the existence of the literary artefact but also the fact of being a part of it.
