Summary/Abstract: Thanks to Greta Thunberg, the problem of climate change has become one of the main agenda items worldwide. From this aspect, it was attempted to establish the subject ties between K. Boie's novel “Jeder Tag ein Happening” and the story of the activist Thunberg in terms of problem-oriented youth literature. In the problem-oriented youth literature, various problems that children and youngsters face in their worlds are generally dealt with in the novel genre. In this context, novel can be considered as a means of values education with the socially responsible actions and initiatives of youth for their own problems. Within the framework of Boie's novel, which deals with a local environmental problem in Germany, the reasons that lead to the solution of the problems of youngsters around them by forming a subculture are analyzed. The repercussions of global warming, initiated by the globally renowned climate activist Greta Thunberg, were also addressed.
