Pros and Cons

Summary/Abstract: ‘Ashley X’ Case leaves a trace in the latest history of bioethics and we cannot stay indifferent to it. The aim of this analysis would be reconstruction of ‘Ashley X’ Case in three ethical perspectives – consequentialism, deontology and ethics of care. Using thought experiment we are going to consider what these theories in this case would suggest and what judgment would they give to the Ashley’s parents decision. My arguments are going to be exposed at the end of the article and I am going to rate the decision taken.
