Summary/Abstract: Management guru and management fashion phenomena continue to attract attention in the academic circles. However, the debates on management gurus and fashion approaches in management still need to be reviewed and to be made meaningful conclusions. Therefore, there is a necessity for explanatory and unifying academic studies regarding management gurus and fashion phenomena in management. Academic studies that are conducted so far in order to conceptualize the phenomena of management gurus and fashion approaches in management discipline can be categorized into two main groups. In this study, fashion approaches in management practices and debates about management gurus will be categorically discussed within the framework of logical and institutional approach paradigms. In the conclusion and discussion section of the study, a holistic analysis will be made by combining the information obtained as a result of document analysis.
