Summary/Abstract: Collective memory has started to take its place as an important phenomenon in almost every field of social sciences and has been dealt with in different contexts in many studies since 1980s. In this study, discussions on the concept of collective memory continued on date blocks within the framework of historical time and reminder messages. Since the calendar and especially date blocks started to be printed, it has generally been accepted as important memory places because it contains informative and reminder messages specific to each day. Date blocks of the historical time are remembered with peculiar ideology was carried out leafy calendar offered by Turkey newspapers in this study. The reminder messages of the 2020 date blocks selected with the random sampling technique were examined in 26 (twenty six) different categories. The main finding in the study was that reminder messages were mostly religious. In addition, date blocks are materials that provide important memory documents at anniversaries and commemorations.
