Summary/Abstract: The analysis aims to follow Armenia's international commitments under bilateral cooperation and European Union legislation to establish out-of-court remedies for the protection of human and civil rights. The Armenian perspective has been examined in the light of the ombudsman's institution and contains proposals for improving the legislation in line with modern democratic criteria for protection mechanisms.
