Summary/Abstract: In this study, in the context of gender inequality, it is aimed to get the opinions of female orchestra conductors regarding the place of female conductors in classical music orchestras. In this context, 7 female orchestra conductors were interviewed. Qualitative research method was used in the research. The research data were collected using semi-structured interview technique, which is one of the interview technique types. Descriptive analysis technique was used in the analysis of the data obtained from the interview. As a result of the research, it has been concluded that female orchestra conductors encounter gender inequality in their educational processes, experience positive and negative reflections of being a woman in their professional lives, and positive and negative reflections of being a female conductor in their private lives.
