Summary/Abstract: In order to investigate the significant events of our military history the author publishes the results of research into the participation of the Croatian border regiments in the French-Habsburg war of 1809. He gives a retrospective on the neglect and evaluation of our soldiers in specific battles although they made an immeasurable contribution to them, as in the attempts to correct this injustice later.
