Summary/Abstract: ‘The Lyre and The Spider’ is not a simple anthological title. Leonida Lari gave important and deep meanings for the two symbolic entities. They are listed in several conceptual levels: historical, social-political, geopolitical, moral, intimate, philosophical, psychological, artistic, etc. It is an antinomic conjugation between the two poles: one of the eternal, of the nobility or of the ennobling of the world, which involves by meaning the song, the beautiful, and the sublime. The other pole involves the inoculated ephemeral, the disguised danger, which lurks in the corners of life, existence, or society. The author of the volume initiates strategies. She puts into action typologies, symbols, cruel truths, undertakes incursions into confusing and risky spaces, brings to the surface the cunning, makes light in thought and feeling, displays a surprising art of the word through its status.
