Summary/Abstract: The article examines the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the state of the world economy in General and on the economic state of the Republic of Moldova in particular. The impact of the pandemic on the market of energy carriers, precious metals, the impact on the market of food and pharmaceutical products is investigated. Key indicators of the state and development of the domestic economy in the context of Covid-19 are presented.
