Summary/Abstract: The article reveals the essence and meaning of motivational activity. The interests, incentives and needs of the individual, group and society are determined, which creates the basis for the formation of motivational mechanisms. The directions of improving the system of personnel motivation for the implementation of motivational monitoring are found. The use of motivational monitoring in the activities of the department will allow creating an effective incentive system for employees to effectively perform the tasks assigned to them.
