Summary/Abstract: New solutions in the field of childecare benefits under the age 18 were introduced in Poland in 2016. This article, based on survey conducted among citiziens of wielkopolska region. The results of the research presented in this article indicate growing public confidence in the “Family 500 plus” program. The lack of acceptance for universal solutions persists all the time. A significant part of the respondents consider that benefits should be directed only to the poorest families.
