Summary/Abstract: Emergency (special) municipal elections in Vardar Banovina, and in this context in the Vardar part of Macedonia, were held on December 23 1934, and the reason was the reduction in the number of municipalities. The elections were conducted only in those municipalities that the Decree of the Minister of the Interior, were grouped together. In Vardar Banovina they were held in 69 municipalities located in 26 districts, and were distinguished a total of 209 candidate lists and all were regime party – Yugoslav National Party (JNS). 67 candidates were selected. Only in the Vardar part of Macedonia elections were conducted in 19 districts, 49 municipalities, and 49 candidates were selected.
