Summary/Abstract: The number of students and learners is constantly rising on the area of both teaching Turkish language as a foreign language / second language and teaching to Turkish origin people Turkey Turkish language. The number of universities that organize certificate programs in the field of teaching Turkish to foreigners (TTF) is also increasing. This qualitative case study aims to examine various aspects of TTF (Teaching Turkish to Foreigners) certificate programmes from the angle of those organizing them. Eighteen programme organizers were selected at random from universities [across Turkey] that host at least one TTF certificate programme of their own. The participants were e-mailed an eleven-item semi-structured survey (developed by the researcher) to fill out – the answers from which were later kept in a record. All of the data was then analysed using descriptive statistics. Using the knowledge gained, we put forth various suggestions for pedagogy departments on how they can improve their TTF certification programmes at the end of the study.
