Summary/Abstract: The target group of the research are Turkish-speaking students at “Goce Delcev” University in Shtip. Students are required to attend a course for Macedonian as a foreign language prior to their studies. Our research goal on this occasion is the acquisition of the Past Indefinite Tense by the Turkish-speaking students and for this purpose we have been using the official (non-standard) test/ exam in Macedonian language as foreign for A2-level. In the research part of this paper we used three tasks related to the past indefinite tense, taken from both groups (A- and B-group) of the test. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the results given by Turkish-speaking students in order to see how much they have achieved.
