Summary/Abstract: The author discusses the issue of social reproduction, which was strongly present in Polish women’s poetry of the 1960s and 1970s. The appearance of the history of witch-hunting in the poetic works is, on the one hand, a response to the crises in the sphere of social reproduction, and on the other, a manifestation of feminist consciousness and the need to fight for social justice. The poets focus not so much on the witch motif as on the introduction into poetry of various forms of temporality and smaller histories that are meant to disrupt the official narrative of universal history. In this way, they resurrect the female imagination, enchanted in the collective consciousness, capable of achieving a new and better world.
