Mechanisms for Intensifying Foreign Economic Activity of Innovative-Integrated Structures

Summary/Abstract: The paper considers the modern mechanisms of intensification of foreign economic activity of innovative-integrated structures. The role of innovative-integrated structures in the context of foreign economic activity, advantages and threats of their functioning, factors influencing their development were given. The expediency of further development of innovative-integrated structures based on «The Quintuple Helix model» (scientific and educational institutions, business structures, government, civil society and the environment) was stated. The analysis of indicators of development of higher education, research and development, political environment and business environment, social capital and environmental sustainability, the state of cluster development and foreign economic activity in Ukraine in comparison with developed countries was conducted. It was noted the low level of foreign economic activity in Ukraine in comparison with the developed countries.The ways of improving the mechanisms of intensification of foreign economic activity in Ukraine in terms of innovation processes were substantiated, which include administrative and legal, investment, organizational and economic, financial and credit, fiscal, innovation, production and technological and educational and scientific spheres. The expediency of improving the domestic regulatory framework, increasing the attractiveness of businesses for investors, stabilizing the economic situation, improving the system of tax and customs regulation, development of national innovative system, infrastructure and innovative ecosystems, ensuring the orientation of the educational system to highly qualified specialists training was emphasized.Prospects for further research in the field of research are the definition of differentiated means of influencing the state of foreign economic activity of the subjects of socio-economic relations, methods of adaptation of foreign economic relations to the realities of digital society.
