Summary/Abstract: His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel turns 70 years old. Many of the virtues of the Prophet Daniel, a powerful prophet in difficult times, are present in the life and work of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel. His Beatitude is a strong Patriarch for difficult times. One of the important bastions that he built in the way of the wave of transience that could drown us is “The National Cathedral, The People’s Salvation Cathedral”. We had the joy of seeing this “foundation for eternity” fulfilled in the jubilee year 2018. With all his openness to the world, to European values and ecumenism, our Patriarch remains rooted in the Tradition of his forerunners. Regarding the struggle with the challenges of secularized and materialistic contemporaneity, the Patriarch is the flag bearer of faith preservation, Orthodox tradition and national values.
