Summary/Abstract: The Ottoman Empire had contacts with various states in many fields in the history. While these contacts were continuing, wars and treaties were realized in the political and military fields. Poland was one of the states that the Ottoman Empire had interacted with in the fields of culture and art. Poland had met Turks such as Tatars and Karaims settled on Poland lands beforehand. After that Poland had interacted with the Ottoman Empire Turks. Between the two states the offical contacts began in the fifteenth century and in the following times, the Ottoman clothing and adornment methods left traces on the Polish administration and its people as Sarmatism fashion, especially on menswear including the eighteenth century. In this study ways of putting on the clothing, models and ornamental properties of similar clothing and clothing samples have been tried to be compared with the present influences by searching the literature.
