Summary/Abstract: The Life Science and Social Studies curricula and textbooks of Life Science (grades 1, 2 and 3) and textbooks of Social Studies (grade 4) were examined in this study, which aimed to investigate the subjects and acquirements related to the discipline of history included in the Life Science and Social Studies curricula and in the textbooks. The review of literature/document analysis method, which is a survey model, was used in the study. The documents obtained as a result of the survey were analyzed using the descriptive analysis model. When the results of the study were evaluated in general, it was observed that the topics of history were incorporated in the Life Science and Social Studies courses at the elementary education level, but it was found that the topics of history were fewer in number compared with the other acquirements in the Life Science course. It was seen that as the grade levels increased, the acquirements and topic contents related to the discipline of history differed in the curricula and textbooks but the names of the topics related to the discipline of history were similar. It is also possible to say that the visuals of the topics and the contents in the Life Science curriculum were not explanatory and informative enough.
